Covid 19 Situation Update

AND FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS (For Spaniels At Least!)
We are delighted to announce that we are running an online virtual Working Test

















WGDS Virtual Working Tests for Spaniels.
As we are not able to run any training or competitions at the moment, we are inviting all spaniel owners to have a try at our tests
on their normal training grounds.


There are 3 tests available .
These have been set and will be judged
by Martin Kilminster & Dave Seaborn
who regularly volunteer as trainers for the club
as well as having competing and judging experience.

These tests are open to members & non-members and all spaniels .
 

1.Puppies  : (up to the age of 18 months.)

2.Novices   :(Not having won any Field Trial award
                     or come 1st, 2nd
 or 3rd in a working test )

3. Open       :( Dogs of all levels)


You will record your entry on video and send it by Whats App to the club phone. These will be forwarded to the judges anonymously .

We will ask all entries for a donation which we will pass on to the Medical Detection Dogs Charity.

COVID 19 - Statement
March 16th 2020

 

Dear Members,
 

In light of the recent and impending government guidelines regarding the COVID-19 epidemic, WGDS regret to inform you that all upcoming training, events and meetings have been suspended until Friday 1st May 2020.

It is hoped that any event affected can be rescheduled and will take place later on in the year.

For members that have already paid entry fees, the club will refund these as soon as practicable.

We will endeavour to keep all members updated on our plans as information becomes available primarily via email, our website and Facebook group.

Your committee all hope that all members, your families and of course your dogs remains fit and well in this challenging climate.
