Spaniel Working Tests for 2018

To be held under Kennel Club Rules

I am pleased to advise you that in both Novice and Open all entrants, including ones that have entered more than one dog, will get a run.
No running orders will be sent so you will be advised of your 'number' on the day

Venue:   Bourton Woods, Bourton-on-the Hill Gloucestershire. By Kind Permission of Lord And Lady Dulverton
Start:   Novice   9.00am for 9.30am.    Open   Will not start before 1pm

Judges:   Mr Alex Badger (A Panel 3267). Mrs Julie Thatcher (Non Panel)

Novice:   Dogs/Bitches not having won a 1st in a Novice W.T., a 1st 2nd or 3rd in Open WT or any Field Trial Awards
Open:   Dogs and Bitches of an Open Test standard

Entry Fees:   Members £8.00 per entry.   Non Members: £10.00 per entry. Please make cheques payable to: W.G.D.S. Please enter Membership number on entry form

Disipline:   Please keep all dogs on leads except when participating in tests. Specified areas will be allocated for exercising dogs.

Directions:   From Worcester take the A44 Evesham Road to Evesham Bypass, turn right onto the A46 (Cheltenham) – look out for the Broadway sign, turn left back onto the A44. Continue on this road and when approaching Bourton on The Hill look out for WGDS signs.Nearest Postcode;- GL56 9AJ

BEST NOVICE HANDLER: W.G.D.S. Membership Trophy awarded to the best Novice Handler that has NOT won an award (excluding COM) in a Working Test or Field Trial

DIRECTIONS: Postcode B97 6RB will put you in the area. From the A448 ‘The Bromsgrove Highway’ take B4184 to Tardebigge. At 1st roundabout take the B4096 to Tardebigge/Hewell for two & half miles.
Look out for WGDS sign to turn right into Brockhill Lane. After one & half miles look for 2nd WGDS sign to turn left into Brockhill Lane. Once turned left keep bearing round to the right on Brockhill Lane (don’t bear left)
Look out for another WGDS sign for entrance to ground. Parking area will be marked
