The
society returned by invitation to the Wye Valley Inter Club
competition held at Lulsley on 7th August 2011, to defend their
title from last year. The team consisted of 2 open dogs handled
by Ann Colley and Helen Goodwin, and 2 Novice dogs handled by
Clare Baker and Angie Cooper.
The
tests set were of a good standard for both the Novice and the
Open, including a lovely walk up in sugar beet and a difficult
water retrieve. Whilst points were close at the end Worcester
were pipped in to second place by Cotswold and Wyvern, with
the best performing Worcester participant being Clare Baker.
An enjoyable day was had by all including Steve and Toni who
came along to support the team!
