Kim Gallimore
Kim has had Hungarian Vizsla’s for nearly four years, having not been able to have a dog for over 15 years prior due to work commitments. Once Iggy, the first, arrived on the scene she became well involved with HPR training as well as the Hungarian Vizsla Community. Kim and Iggy have competed at many working tests, being placed on many occasions in both puppy and novice. Spring Pointing Tests have also bought awards, and although she has entered some six or seven Field Trials over the past winter, Kim and Iggy have been close … but not close enough!!! Kim is an active committee member with the Hungarian Vizsla Society, Newsletter Editor for them, and has helped the Hungarian Vizsla Society Rescue, with both rescuing and giving short term, and long term homes for rescue Vizzies. One of which is Barney, who is now 13 and often seen at the WGDS training ground when Kim grabs a welcome cuppa and puts Iggy away in the car!! She has been a member of the WGDS for the last 14/15 months, has joined the committee this last year … and thoroughly enjoys being a part of it. |
