I became a member of the Society in 2004 after having a Springer Spaniel pup from one of the committee members, and soon became hooked on training and working my Springer Jess. My wife now also has a Springer and takes an active part in training her dog and also in Society events.

Having been brought up in a small village in Oxfordshire, I spent most of my youth on my best friends dad's farm, this is where I learned all aspects of country life, inluding the love of dogs and shooting. Now settled in Worcestershire after a spell moving around the country with my job, I'm at my happiest out on local shoots, beating and picking up with my spaniel.
